Nigeria’s President-Elect, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has returned to the country after a nine-day working visit to Europe.
Tinubu, who spent about 10 days in Europe, was received at the Abuja airport by Senate President Ahmad Lawan, Vice-President-elect Kashim Shettima, Godswill Akpabio and Kano governor, Abdullahi Ganduje among others.
Tunde Rahman, Tinubu’s media aide, had said his principal met with investors and finetune transition plans during the visit.
The President-Elect is expected to assume office on May 29, 2023 when the second term of President Muhammadu Buhari elapses.
