Safety Professionals in Nigeria Celebrate ISPON Day, Nine Years After Establishment By Act of Parliament

The Institute of Safety Professionals of Nigeria has concluded plans for first ever commemoration of the day when ISPON achieved the ISPON Act 2014.

Speaking to newsmen in Abuja, the National President, ISPON, Mr Kaizer Ebi, said the event would be a blast as ISPON and its collaborators celebrate the auspicious moment
when we became empowered to make a professional leap.

“It is not a celebration of factions but a unification of purpose and the toast to a new beginning”, Ebi declared.

The event, with the theme, “The Past, Present and Future of Safety and Health Practice, Collaboration and Sustainability in Nigeria will be Chaired by Engr(Dr) Rabiu Suleiman, a Member of Board, NLNG.

Mr Ebi noted that the event schedule to hold on Thursday, 25th May, 2023 in Abuja will feature a gala night, awards, comedy, cultural displays, documentary about ISPON and announcements of new strides.

Our Correspondent reports that the Act establishing the Institute of Safety Professionals in Nigeria, ISPON, came into being in 2014 by an Act of Parliament.
