The Nigeria Police Force Public Relations Officer, CSP Olumuyiwa Adejobi, has reacted to a viral video showing at least seven policemen escorting a yet-to-be-identified man who was walking with a knife to slaughter a cow.

A tweep, Yemie Fash, earlier shared the video on his handle and tagged the Force PRO, asking why the man had so many policemen escorting him.

He wrote: “Hello, #Princemoye1 Who is this man, why does he have so many #PoliceNG men following him?”

Reacting, Adejobi retweeted the video on Thursday morning on his official Twitter handle, describing the act of the officers as ‘disgusting.’

According to him, the police officers would be fished out, stressing that a committee has been set up to consider the withdrawal of officers from such services.

He wrote: “This is condemned. We will fish out these men. It’s even disgusting. We have set up a committee to look into the process of withdrawing our PMF/tactical men from such services and use them for the announced Quick Intervention Squad.
