The Nigerian top flight has been rechristened the Nigeria Premier Football League.
The new name was adopted at the Annual General Assembly of the Nigeria Football Federation, NFF, in Uyo on Sunday.
The top-flight was previously called the Nigeria Professional Football League.
A date for the commencement of the 2023-24 NPFL season is yet to be announced.
Enyimba won the 2022-23 NPFL title.
