The umbrella organisation of MSME association in Nigeria, MSME Forum, and the Raw Materials Research and Development Council, RMRDC, have signed a memorandum of understanding for economic growth and capacity building.
At the signing ceremony in Abuja, the Chairman, BOT, MSME Forum, Dr Albert Akinyemi, applauded the Director General, RMRDC, Professor Hussaini Doko Ibrahim, for his support to the growth and development of the sub sector in Nigeria.
Dr Akinyemi, who was represented by a Member of the Board and head of Publications and Special Duties, Mr Olusegun Adeleke, noted that the Forum signed the agreement with the hope that it will effectively play its role towards the growth and development of the sub sector.
“I have looked forward to this occasion with bated breath. I am happy that today(Thursday) the signing is taking place at the prestigious RMRDC Technology and Innovation Complex, which is a testimony to the vissionary leadership and patriotic zeal of Prof Hussaini Ibrahim.
Responding, the RMRDC Director General, Professor Hussaini Doko Ibrahim, thanked the Board and Management of Forum MSME for the continued smooth relationship between the organisations.
He hinted that the Technology Innovation Complex will be commissioned by the President in a few weeks time.
Professor Ibrahim promised that all the requests by Forum management had been noted and would be passed to the appropriate authority for action.
Members of the delegation include the Chairman, Alhaji Garba Ibrahim Gusau, Mrs Rose Gyar, Chairman of Council and other top management staff of MSME Forum.
Highlight of the occasion was the presentation of Gift to Professor Hussaini Ibrahim for exemplary and sterling qualities in service delivery.
