A Non Governmental Organisation, Friends of Jagaban Initiatives, FOJI, has commended the level of professionalism by the Nigeria Television Authority, NTA, in service delivery.
The National Coordinator of the group, Engr AGF Abdul, who gave the commendation in Abuja, saluted the Nigerian Television Authority for promoting genuine intention of the present administration’s policies to the general public.
Speaking during a courtesy visit to the Director General of NTA, Alhaji Salihu Dembos, FOJI National Coordinator applauded the management of the television station for setting the record straight and thus saving the nation from calamities that may occur through distortion of news and propaganda.
“We commend NTA for its professionalism in the discharge of its duty and the unflinching support it has been extending to President Tinubu’s administration in all ramifications, we have had many stakeholders’ engagements and we can authoritatively say that people in this government are aware of your genuine support to this administration,” Engr Abdul noted.
He informed the NTA Director General that FOJI has successfully distributed palliatives in the form of food items to the less privileged across the country to cushion the effects of the removal of fuel subsidy.
In response, the NTA Director General assured FOJI National Coordinator and other national executive officers of the group of NTA’s support to any initiative the group could come up with to counter fake news and citizens’ sensitization towards patriotism .
