A Notable Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Etsako East Local Government Area, Rotarian Simon Ogie, has urged Muslim Faithfuls to imbibe the lessons of Eidel Kabir celebration.

In his EId-el-Kabir message, Simon Ogie, who is a devouted Catholic thanked Almighty God for the rare privilege given to Muslims to witness another Eid-el Kabir celebration in commemoration of the sacrifice made by Prophet Muhammed.

Rotarian Ogie, urged Muslims to have a sober reflection on the significance of the celebration.

According to him, Muslims and Non Muslims alike should pray for the peace, progress, sustainable development and unity of the country.

The former Member representing South- South on the Board of the Nigeria Deposit Insurance Corporation (NDIC), counselled Muslims to join hands together to build a prosperous and better Nigeria that we all be proud of in the comity of Nations.

Rotarian Ogie also enjoined Adherents of the Islamic Faith to sustain the virtues of tolerance, Forgiveness, Love, Patience, self discipline, sacrifice and genuine commitment to Fellow Nigerians irrespective of their religion, tribe or race.

While felicitating with the Muslim Faithfuls on the occasion of this year’s Eid-el-Kabir celebration, the party Chieftain urged Nigerians to promote acts that can unite the country and wish all Muslims a peaceful celebration.
