A factional President of the National Sports Association For Judiciary of Nigeria, NASJA, Mr. Emeka Ndili, has promised to initiate a legal action to prove that he is the duly elected President of the Association.

This is coming against what he described as misleading claims to the contrary being made by some persons as contained in a recent newspaper publication.

Mr. Ndili, in a statement made available to newsmen in Abuja, claims that his executive committee members of NASJA were embarrassed to read in an Abuja-based National Daily that another President of the Association existed beyond him who emerged in a National election alongside members of the Association whose names appear on the body’s letterhead used in communicating the disclaimer to the general public.

Mr. Ndili described the said National Daily publication which came in form of an advertisement, as a calculated attempt by some suspended members of NASJA to cast malice and aspersions on his person.

According to him, he has informed his lawyers to initiate legal steps to correct the erroneous and misleading impression being perpetrated by the suspended NASJA officers.

He therefore urged the general public to disregard such information as he is the only duly elected President of NASJA.
