Christians From New Apostolic Church Celebrate Global Annual Harvest Thanksgiving Service in Abuja

The New Apostolic Church Christians from various congregations in Abuja gathered in their District Headquarters in Wuye Central Church to celebrate her Global Annual Harvest Thanksgiving Combine Service on Sunday, 5th of October, 2025.
The Divine Service was conducted by Apostle Geoffrey Jediel Gwani, the minister in charge of the Northern Apostle Working Area.
Apostle Gwani based his Sermon on the Theme, “How to show Gratitude to God”, while the Text was taken from the book of
Colossians 3:17. It reads, “And whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him (Jesus Christ).”
At the beginning of the Message, The Apostle reminded the congregation, “that they have unanimously come to acknowledge, recognize and to expound their heartfelt gratitude to God for both Spiritual and physical gifts he endowed each and everyone with”.
The Apostle admonished the children of God to keep Practicing gratitude in Word and Deed, and that their Words and Deeds should be Seasoned with salt as the light of the nation which they are as in Matthew 5:13,14.
He further revealed that God, loves everyone and we must appreciate Him for everything, and as well show kindness to one another irrespective of their background.
To crown it all, the Lord’s servant also stated that fellowship with God in Prayer and coming together to the Divine Service are ways of showing gratitude to God!
In Summary, the Apostle encouraged the children of God to devote their time to serving God and humanity always.
The Abuja district rector, Priest Dabas Emmanuel John told our Correspondent that the members were so elated for having the opportunity to express their joy and appreciate God for all that He has done for them as in Psalm 116.
“A good number of congregants attended the Divine service, where the brothers and sisters exchanged pleasantries and had fellowship together,” Priest Dabas John remarked.
