National Political Equity Movement, N-PEM, in a consultative audience with the Special Assistant to President Jonathan on Technical Matters, and Former Secretary SURE-P, Hon. Nze Akachukwu Nwankpo, today on Wednesday at No. 2 Danube street off IBB way, Mayfair Hotel Maitama, Abuja stressed on the need for South-East Presidency come 2023.
Hon. Nze Akachukwu Nwankpo said South-East Power Pivot should centralize in synergy for the 2023 Presidency.
Hon. Nze who made the statement while commending the leadership of the movement expressing happiness with the vision pointing out that the greatest weapon of growth in the world is ideas, when they are developed then the people are able to promote the vision around it and If gathered enough people to understand the idea and connect to the vision behind the idea, it becomes a formidable movement.
The convener of the movement, Amb. Okereke Sunday who initially described Hon. Nze Akachukwu Nwankpo as a gifted strategist disclosed that the National Political Equity Movement believes in democratic governance, equity, justice, fairness, merit, unity, and Nigeria’s holistic development, stressing that it works to promote democracy consolidation issues, equitable political structure, policymaking, active citizens participation and constitutionality which is driven by the urgent and compelling need to restructure Nigeria’s political system to redress the big issues of divisiveness, political exclusion and institute a culture of political equity, justice, inclusiveness, devolution of power and guarantee the unity of Nigeria in a democratic governance structure.
Recapping, Hon. Nze urged the south East political leaders to reunite and have a single voice and by so doing, the 2023 South East Presidency forecast can be attained.
