Ahead of May 29, the Governor-elect of Kaduna State, Uba Sani has approved the appointment of Muhammad Shehu Lawal as his Chief Press Secretary.

This was contained in a statement he signed personally and made available to the media in Kaduna

The statement said the appointment takes immediate effect.

The appointee holds Masters Degree in International Affairs and Diplomacy (MIAD) from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, Masters in Conflict, Peace and Strategic Studies from Kaduna State University, Kaduna and a Bachelor of Science in Political Science from the Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria

He also holds certificates in Interfaith Conflict Resolution and Conflict Analysis from the United States Institute of Peace, Washington DC, as well as a certificate in Monitoring and Evaluation from the Global Health Learning Centre, Baltimore, USA.

Senator Ubah urged Muhammad Shehu Lawal to bring to the service, his years of experience in strategic communication, political communication, image management, conflict resolution and peacebuilding.
