Every 27th Day of May is set aside to celebrate children through out the world. This year’s celebration placed huge premium on investments for the future of our children.

In Nigeria, the children day will be celebrated across the country with match past and lectures. Even some broadcast stations will allow children to be at the forefront to present news and programmes just to make them feel belong.

As the children celebrate, issues of child labour, education, welfare and proper upbringing should be matters of concern to parents and the incoming Tinubu administration  to tackle.

Investment in the future of our children is indeed a necessity for national prosperity. Our children are the future of our country, and investing in their education, health, and well-being is crucial for building a strong and prosperous nation.

Education is a key factor in preparing our children for the future. By investing in quality education, we equip our children with the skills and knowledge they need to succeed in today’s rapidly changing world. This, in turn, helps to build a more productive and innovative workforce, which is essential for economic growth and prosperity.

Investing in the health and well-being of our children is also critical. Children, who are healthy and well-nourished are more likely to succeed in school and in life, and are more likely to become productive members of society. In addition, investing in early childhood development can help to reduce the incidence of chronic diseases, such as heart disease and diabetes, later in life.

Finally, investing in the future of our children is not just a moral imperative, it is also an economic necessity. A well-educated and healthy population is essential for attracting and retaining high-quality jobs and businesses, which in turn drives economic growth and prosperity.

In conclusion, investing in the future of our children is essential for building a strong and prosperous nation. By providing our children with quality education, good health, and a safe and nurturing environment, we can help to ensure that they have the skills and opportunities they need to succeed in life, and to contribute to the prosperity of the nation.

Happy Children’s Day!!!
