Former Real Madrid player, Predrag Mijatovic, has revealed that the Saudi government have set their sights on bringing the likes of Lionel Messi, Karim Benzema and Neymar to the Super Pro League (SPL) after the arrival of Cristiano Ronaldo.

This claim was made by former Real Madrid player, Predrag Mijatovic.

According to Mijatovic, after Ronaldo’s move to Al-Nassr, the Saudi government now plans on adding Messi, Benzema and Neymar to the mix to increase the brand value of the SPL.

Speaking to Cadena SER (via Onze Mondial), Mijatovic said: “I know the Saudi government has four players in mind, who are four stars: Cristiano Ronaldo, Messi, Neymar and Benzema.

“It is their strategy to promote football as ambassadors.”
