Ghana’s Most Notorious Social Media Lady and Fraudster, MONA FAIZ MONTRAGE, alias ‘Hajia4reall’ has been extradited to United States for alleged stealing $2million in Fake Marriage Scam.
Naija Standard Newspaper Inc., USA, reports that the 30-year-old pleads not guilty to six counts including conspiracy to commit wire fraud, wire fraud, money laundering conspiracy, money laundering, receipt of stolen money and conspiracy to receive stolen money.
According to the US based Newspaper, “In one instance, lures an American elderly man with fake marriage certificate issued from Accra and received 82 wire transfers totaling $89,000 cash to deceitfully help her father’s farm in Ghana”
“Influencer status on Instagram boasts more than 4.2 million followers, shares posts on her music, travels to London and luxury goods”, It added.
She targets lonely elderly men, older women and widow looking for genuine companionship through online dating and social media websites where she
uses fake personas to send emails, text messages and social media messages to deceive them into believing her story.
