Nelson Abiam has completed a move to Rangers ahead of the 2023-24 Nigeria Premier League season.

Abiam turned down a contract extension from Nasarawa United last month.

The free kick specialist signed a two-year deal with the Flying Antelopes.

Abiam is highly rated by the new Rangers handler Fidelis Ilechwuku, who described his new signing as a modern day centre-back.

He was formerly on the books of Wikki Tourist before joining Nasarawa United during the mid-season transfer window.
