The Minister further stated that, “Osimhen’s growth from the local suburb of Olusosun to the world stage is a demonstration of why grassroots development is a major part of our plans”.

Their collective efforts and unwavering commitment to excellence, he added, have been integral to the success and recognition of Nigerian football talent.

Senator Owan Enoh assured that the Renewed Hope Agenda of the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu-led Administration was fully committed to creating a platform for more Osimhens, Oshoalas and Chiamakas, stating that the Federal Ministry of Sports Development under his watch remains steadfast in its support for Nigerian Athletes across all Sporting disciplines.
