In recognition of his policy initiatives geared towards the development of Sports in Nigeria, the Minister of Sports Development, Senator John Owan Enoh, has been conferred with
the distinguished Africa Sustainability Man of the Year 2023 Award.
The prestigious recognition was conferred on the Minister in Lagos on Friday, during the 17th Edition of the Sustainability, Enterprise and Responsibility Awards (SERAS) ceremony.
Senator Owan Enoh, while responding to the honour conferred on him, stated that Sports has the power not only to propel the prosperity and development of the African continent but the entire world in general.
He stated that the award will spur him to become more committed to the development of the sector in line with the policy thrust of the present administration.

The impact of Sports on Nigeria’s economy is a key focus of the Minister’s agenda in his determination to ensure the realization of the Renewed Hope Agenda of the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu-led Administration.
