The Chairman of Global Youth Skill Acquisition and Poverty Eradication Organization (GYSAPE), Ambassador Ozegbe Chuks Emmanuel, has bagged an Honourary Doctorate degree in Public Administration and Community Management at the prestigious Institut Superieur Bilingure Libre Du Togo (IBLT) University in Lome,Togo.
In his acceptance speech, Ambassador Ozegbe, said he was very humbled and extremely grateful for the honour.
Below is the transcript of his acceptance speech at the ceremony:
‘Your excellencies, ladies and gentlemen, I’ll like to stand on existing protocols because right now I’m overwhelmed, super-excited, with so much joy clouding my heart this day as I stand to receive this great award
“I’m very very humbled and extremely grateful for this honour from this prestigious Institution. From the bottom of my heart, I say a huge, mighty thank you to the Almighty God for making this day happen. I want to say thank you to the Chancellor, I want to say a big thank you to all the governing council of Institut Superieur Bilingure Libre Du Togo, the Senate, Academics and Non-Academic staff, my family and most especially people working with me in making sure that our service for a more better society is achieved”.
“This conferment of this honourary degree has renewed my zeal to work harder for the advancement of humanity and maintain standard by which this great institution has recognised me, and it’s made me to resolve to work harder to be a good Ambassador of Institut Superieur Bilingure Libre Du Togo (IBLT).
Ambassador Ozegbe, later in a chat with newsmen, disclosed how happy he was for being awarded the degree, stating that the award is a stepping stone and greater calling to pursue the course for community development.
Meanwhile, during a courtesy visit of the Awardees to the Nigerian Ambassador to Togo, Adebowale J. Adesina, the Ambassador congratulated the awardees and commended them for their efforts in spearheading societal transformation programmes.
Ambassador Adesina stated that, it’s a well deserved award and that they’ve made Nigeria proud in their different level of influence.
Some of the Nigerian awardees are: the Royal Majesty, the Onisan of Isan Kingdom, Oba Gabriel Ayodele Adejuwon (MBA FCTI) and Peter Ubuwere to mention but few.
