President Bola Tinubu has relocated to the prestigious Glass House within the Presidential Villa in Abuja.

According to reports, despite ongoing renovations to the official presidential residence, the President has been working from his private residence in Asokoro since taking office on May 29.

It was unclear why he decided to move into the Glass House at this time, especially since the renovation work was believed to have been completed.

However, sources indicate that the President had originally planned to wait until September before moving into the Villa but succumbed to mounting public pressure to move to State House.

The Glass House, situated within the State House premises, is traditionally reserved as the most esteemed guest house for the President.

It boasts of luxurious and spacious living quarters with beautifully designed interiors and panoramic views of the surrounding gardens.

The Glass House has always been reserved for foreign dignitaries and Heads of State during their visits to Nigeria.

Some wondered if this was a temporary arrangement until the official residence underwent further renovations or if it signified a permanent shift in his living arrangements.

Regardless of the reasons behind the move, his presence in the Glass House served as a powerful symbol of his position and authority.

It signaled his commitment to fulfilling his duties as the country’s leader and his readiness to immerse himself fully in the affairs of the Presidential Villa.

GNN reports that with his continuous daily presence at the Villa, Tinubu will be able to closely monitor and oversee ongoing government activities, providing timely guidance and direction.
