Nigeria In Diaspora Africa (NIDOAF), has concluded plans to unveil a new constitution geared towards greater collaboration and inclusivity.

One of the Leaders, Professor Jude Osakwe, said the review of the constitution is a testament to NIDOAfrica’s collective quest for unity and the desire to overcome years of infighting and disunity.

“We stand today, hopeful and determined to consolidate our efforts and become one united body”

He noted that NIDO Africa has been a beacon of hope for Nigerians in the diaspora, providing a platform for engagement, networking, and support.

“However, we have faced our fair share of challenges and internal divisions, which have hindered our progress. But today, we turn a new page in our history”, Osakwe added.

According to him, “The unveiling ceremony, scheduled for Saturday, November 25, 2023, at 5pm Nigeria time, marks a significant milestone in our journey towards unification. It signifies our commitment to foster greater collaboration, inclusivity, and representation within our organization”.

“With this new constitution, we aim to establish a strong foundation for NIDO Africa, one that will guide our actions and uphold our core values”, Osakwe assured.

“NIDO Africa serves as a powerful voice for Nigerians in the diaspora, advocating for our rights and harnessing our collective potentials”.

Professor Jude Osakwe, who is with the Namibia University, noted that, “through our unwavering dedication and mutual support, we can reach greater heights and make a tangible difference in the lives of our brothers and sisters back home”.

“All the stakeholders of NIDO Africa, whose unwavering commitment and dedication have brought us to this momentous occasion will be present as we celebrate this achievement together”.

“We are also honored to have the esteemed presence of the management of NIDCOM, who have long been our partners in advancing the cause of Nigerians in the diaspora”.

“The official launch will take place today, Saturday by 5pm Nigerian Time”, he confirmed.
